University of Ghana: The premier university and the largest university in Ghana was founded as the University College of the Gold Coast by Ordinance on August 11, 1948 for the purpose of providing and promoting university education, learning and research. Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology: MMUST holds the view that science and technology is an indispensable tool in harnessing resources of nature for sustainable development and creating an environment in which human beings can survive and realize their potential. Thus, the human person has the moral obligation to creatively improve the environment. This can be achieved through a well-conceptualized educational, scientific and technological package through which every human being must rightfully experience and acquire the tools to facilitate this mission. University of Malawi: The university’s mission is to advance knowledge and to promote wisdom and understanding by engaging in teaching, research, consultancy, public and community engagement and by making provision for the dissemination, promotion and preservation of learning responsive to the needs of Malawi and global trends. Technical University of Kenya: The Technical University of Kenya (TUK) is the first technical University to be established in Kenya.  Through research, teaching and innovation, the University aims at providing specialized technological education and training that contribute towards advancement of society at national and international levels. The objective is achieved within three broadly clustered faculties, each comprising of more five schools further partitioned into several specialized departments offering various under to post- graduate courses (http://tukenya.ac.ke/).
